How to Request Inspection Copies
Assess our books before you adopt them for your academic and professional courses
You can order up to three books that you feel might be suitable for the course(s) you teach. Books will be sent on a 60 day inspection invoice after which please fill out our short questionnaire and: adopt the book and inform your local bookshop, return it to us in good condition or purchase the book for your personal use.
Please choose print or digital format below. Digital inspection copies offer you a number of benefits, e.g. quicker access, searchability, and, if you decide not to adopt, your access to the book simply expires – there are no hard copies to return.

PLEASE READ For territorial, electronic rights and price restrictions please check our website.
1) Only books for which we have full electronic rights are available as digital inspection copies. If you can’t find the book you are looking for on the digital requests site, please request a print inspection copy using the form below.
2) We will not be able to supply a textbook if we if we don’t have territorial rights for that book in your country.
3) As high-priced reference titles are usually not suitable as course texts we normally limit the price of books available on inspection to £45 / $70. If you plan to buy multiple copies for a professional course please email coursetexts@earthscan.co.uk.
You’ll find territorial rights info on each book’s Earthscan webpage, above the price, so please check first before you make your request, to avoid delays or disappointment.
