Nick Robins is the head of HSBC’s Climate Change Centre of Excellence. Previously he served as the head of sustainable and responsible funds at Henderson Global Investors, director of the Sustainable Markets Group at the International Institute for Environment and Development, and special adviser to the European Commission’s Environment Directorate working on the preparations and follow-up to the 1992 Earth Summit. He has authored numerous articles on corporate responsibility and sustainable development issues in a wide range of journals and is the co-editor of the book Sustainable Investing: The Art of Long-Term Performance. He holds a BA in history from Cambridge University and an MSc in international relations from the London School of Economics.
