Of Ferraris and Stardust: dispatches from the Battle of Ideas

I first came across Daniel Ben-Ami when someone pointed me to a particularly scathing blog about Prosperity without Growth on a website called ‘Ferraris for all’. Perhaps it was the name of the website. Perhaps it was the uncompromising tone of the blog. Perhaps it was the fact that the blogger had made no apparent effort to understand the arguments in the book and probably hadn’t even read it. At any rate, I jumped to the unkind conclusion that the man was bonkers. And resolved not just to forget about him, but to stop reading blogs about Prosperity without Growth. Period. [More]
