David Schindler wins Sandford Fleming award

Dr. David Schindler, co-author of The Algal Bowl: Overfertilization of the World's Freshwaters and Estuaries has received the Sandford Fleming award from the Royal Canadian Institute for the Advancement of Science. The award was given in recognition of being "a scientist who is able to bridge the gap between the lab and people."
