The World Future Energy Summit took place in Abu Dhabi last month. Most of the delegates will, perforce, have flown to reach the event. I would be surprised if any of them are not aware of the irony involved. I suspect there may also be many people who chose not to go to the event avoid the emissions that would have been involved in travelling to reach it.
