Innovation Africa launch at Science Forum 2009

The Innovation Africa: Enriching Farmers’ Livelihoods book launch took place this week in Wageningen at the Science Forum 2009. The book was presented as part of a joint launch with Practical Action Publishing’s Farmer First Revisited, and the speakers included:

Dr. Hansjörg Neun, Director CTA, The Netherlands, panel chair

Dr Mark Holderness, Executive Secretary of the Global Forum on Agricultural Research, Italy, invited speaker


Prof Niels Röling, Emeritus Professor of Agricultural Knowledge Systems at the Wageningen University and Research Centre, The Netherlands, invited speaker


Dr John Thompson, Research Fellow, Knowledge, Technology and Society, Institute of Development Studies, UK, co-editor and invited speaker


Dr Chesha Wettasinha, Agriculturalist, EcoCulture, ETC Foundation, The Netherlands, co-editor and invited speaker
