Last thursday Dr Julia Wright gave a lecture at the International Institute for the Study of Cuba to launch her book Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security in an Era of Oil Scarcity: Lessons from Cuba. The institute proved to be a fantastic venue, there wasa really good turn out, and we all enjoyed the Cuban rum in the informal chat after Julia's talk. The Institute Assistant Director just sent some photos of the event, so I thought I'd post them here. As a charmingly eccentric man at the launch said to me on his way to the free rum "!hasta la victoria siempre!". Indeed.
