When the studio panel on yesterday's BBC Radio 4 Home Planet show were asked to recommend a readable, authoritative book for information on climate change, science writer and editor Dr Lynn Dicks of University of Cambridge was quick to highlight Climate Change by A. Barrie Pittock, of which a new edition is due to be published by Earthscan next month.
Dr Dicks said, “If you want to find out some good information about climate change … [see Pittock’s book] … it is likely to be excellent, so far the only scientific text which will include the findings of the 4th IPCC report”.
