The Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (AERE) named Richard T. Carson and Robert N. Stavins 2009 AERE Fellows at an American Economics Association Annual Meeting luncheon.

The AERE Fellows Program was established in 2005 to “recognize outstanding contributions to the advancement of the profession of environmental and resource economics.”  Carson is co-author, with Robert C.
